The royal couple reached the city at 1.45 pm by air from Mumbai. The city tour began with the visit to Kirkee War Cemetery (KWC) to pay homage to slain soldiers from the world wars.
After this, Charles and Camilla moved to Serum Institute of India. The city journey was completed with a visit to Royal Western India Turf Club.u00a0

In the morning, the couple had visited St John Evangelist Church in Mumbai. Even though they did not interact with the press during the KWC visit, an accompanying official said, “This is so peaceful, especially after Mumbai.”
Shireen Mistry, head (communication and public affairs) of the British Deputy High Commission, said, “The Pune visit by the royal family was comfortable and concluded according to schedule.”
Around 4 pm Charles came to the turf club alone. He was here for around 40 minutes, during which he interacted with some corporates and socialites.
The prince just had tea during the trip.
