Pune: 14 more test positive for H1N1 virus

Authorities screened 11,793 people for the presence of H1N1 virus across the district yesterday, the maximum number of persons tested in single day so far.

During the process of screening yesterday, 14 persons tested H1N1 positive, raising the total number of swine flu cases to 205.

Dr Vijay Powar, resident medical officer at District Civil Hospital, said that three patients continued to be on ventilator support, one each at KEM Hospital, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Aditya Birla Hospital.u00a0

Twelve persons are admitted in isolation wards at different hospitals.

Twenty-eight patients have been discharged from hospital.
