Rocky's Revelation and Live Wire paid a musical tribute to the King of Pop last night

AT Staples Center in Los Angeles family, friends and fansu00a0 mourned the untimely and sudden death of Michael Jackson on Tuesday night. Back home, Pune-based bands Rocky's Revelation and Live Wire remembered the King of Pop by trying to recreate his magic a city restaurant last night.
Called MJ Tribute to the King of Pop, the night saw MJ fans, both young and old, groove to the music as they recalled their favourite songs.
Dale Stocking, a student from Chattisgarh, said, "This night is awesome. Michael Jackson was and will forever be the ultimate rock star."
Jason Filipe of Live Wire captured the mood when he said, "We are here to remember MJ. We are all here to salute the king."
Rocky Tribhuwan of Rocky's Revelation seconded Filipe, "We are all here for a cause and we think we have succeeded that." And it sure looked like they had as the crowd paid their respects by boogieing the night away to MJ hits such as Thriller, Billie Jean, Black or White and Beat It. When the bands played We are the world, the crowd sang along enthusiastically.
Jacko's fans were glad to pay tribute to their hero. Said Karishma Khiani, a student, "MJ was an amazing pop singer and an awesome dancer. This tribute is a very thoughtful idea."
Krutika Chawla, a business analyst, added, "I am really glad that a tribute is being paid to the King of Pop."
Echoed businessman Sameer Moghe, "Nobody can second him."
Despite the controversies MJ may have faced, his fans remain true to him.u00a0 Tribhuwan said, "A person who could have sung songs like We are the World and Heal the World can never be a child molester. For us, he will always be spotless."
