Also, security has been beefed up at major railway stations, airports and all prominent areas in city including Hinjewadi where most of the IT companies are located.
Besides, people aren't issued a visitors pass unless they have to board a flight and malls have been asked to up their security.

Armed policemen and officers in plain clothes are seen at all entry points of the city and vehicles are being thoroughly checked to avoid any untoward incident.
