Robert Vadra to be jailed in 6 months if found guilty: Haryana CM

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra would be behind bars within six months, if found guilty, for his alleged involvement in illegal land deals in the state.

Jind: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra would be behind bars within six months, if found guilty, for his alleged involvement in illegal land deals in the state. The chief minister also confirmed that all cases related to Congress regime would be fast-tracked and none of the accused would be spared if found guilty of being party to corruption.

Khattar added the Justice S N Dhingra Commission, which is making inquiries into grant of land licences to some companies including that of Robert Vadra’s in four villages of Gurgaon, would soon submit its report.


He said all ‘wrongdoings’ of previous government would be made public and alleged scams, involving crores of rupees, be exposed so that the hard-earned money of the people could be returned in through development.

Facts were being collected and those found guilty would be brought to book, he said adding that about 18 to 20 cases of corruption have come to the State government’s notice. Khattar said, of the three such cases, two have been handed over to the CBI.
