The awestruck residents have contacted the Delhi zoo, but meanwhile, they are taking special care of the bird by feeding him various fruits. Not only locals, but people from all over the city are visiting the area to catch a glimpse of the attractive bird.

Child's play
The bird comes to a particular tree with the sunrise every day and starts making noise, which has become now become a wake up call for children in the area. "I don't feel like going to school. I want to play with the bird. I have never seen such a beautiful bird. I have also asked my schoolmates to come and see the bird," said Parmesh, a Class VI student.

We are very happy to see the bird but these birds normally live in pairs and eat selected food. So, we do not want to take any chance," said Vinay Sharma, head constable, Delhi police.

Every household makes sure to feed the bird if it comes to their roofs. "We are feeding the bird with fruits and chapatti. So far, it is eating everything. Within 10 days, he has become a member of our colony," said head constable Gurudas Singh.
