At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market, the rupee appreciated by 14 paise to trade at 45.87 a dollar. Yesterday, the rupee had ended 9 paise higher at 46.01/02.
Forex dealers said continued capital inflows into equities by foreign funds and dollar's weakness overseas mainly lifted the rupee sentiment.
