In fact, even talking to media is something that they don't like and they are not amused by media reports on things they do not have the remotest idea about.

Many, when contacted, preferred to remain silent or spoke on the condition of anonymity.
"How do media persons have access to so called official mails which were never sent by the management nor received by any of the employees?" reacted an irritated employee when contacted by MiD DAY.
Recently married, the 30-something Satyam employee further added, "We have neither received any mail stating that there won't be salaries for next two months nor did we receive any mail stating that 10,000 employees will be axed."
According to this employee, media reports were only adding to their anxiety.
"I am not the sole bread winner in my family, but think of those who have parents and siblings to take care for, or think of couples working in our company," the employee said.
Satyam employees are close to 2,500 in three facilities across the city and are strictly directed not to speak to the media on any issue.
Venting anger on the media, the employee added, "We are all in a wait-and-watch situation. All of us are facing the downside of the economy and any hasty step may lead us into permanent unemployment, as there are not many takers in the Industry,"
The employee, however, confirmed receiving one mail in particular, which assured him of being kept informed about any developments that take place in the company.
According to one of them, no one had stopped working. "In fact, many completed their project on Saturday, a day after the Raju brothers were arrested," one said.
He insisted that neither were clients were backing out from projects assigned to the company nor were projects in the pipeline being shelved.
