Who'd think lingerie could be bottled up in jars? Accessories brand Pop Att makes it possible by stuffing satin shorts and matching camisoles inside pretty glass bottles.
While the satin shorts are from the Feel range, the tops retail under a label called Breathe. You can mix and match, and choose from solid colours and tie and dye pieces.
Mint, fuschia, aqua, black and purple form the palate. "There is all sorts of lacy lingerie available in the market. It's the classic, sexy stuff. We wondered what was being offered to urban girls who are not into lace. What if they wanted flirty sleepwear that didn't cost the moon?" says Khushboo Lahori, co-founder.
The 32 year-old fashion designer teamed up with friend Rakhi Parekh who has styled actress Bipasha Basu in All the Best and Aa Dekhenand actors Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora Khan and Yana Gupta in various advertisements.
And in case you thought Pop-Att was a cool way of referring to a pop attitude, here's the story behind the name. The label borrows its name from the 'popat' (parrot in Gujarati and Marathi, and in Bambaiyya Hindi refers to making a fool of someone). "Our designs are inspired by the Bambaiyya way of life," says Lahori.
Pop-Att also makes quirky acrylic jewellery, notebooks, clocks, lanterns, planters and chandeliers in pop colours.
