Though it's mentioned in the portal that one should be above 18 years to access it, there are no checks to keep kids away.
Pallavi Barthakur Gillani, clinical psychologist, says accessing such chat portals leave a very adverse effect on a kid's mind.
"On most such sites, members are asked to verify their age by submitting documents, and if this portal is not doing that, it is very wrong. Children below 18 years already have a lot of exposure to such things and this could hamper their education and upbringing," said Gillani.
