Yavatmal: Shiv Sena has called for a bandh on Tuesday in the city in protest against the 'apathy' of police towards growing crime graph in the city.

The party, which is a junior partner in state and Central governments, has often criticised ruling BJP on various issues.
Local office-bearers of Sena stated in a press note that the shutdown has the support of Vshva Hindu Parishad, Bajarang Dal, Hindu janjagran Samiti, Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Sananathan Sanstha, Art of Living, Timber Merchant Association, Petrol Pump Owners Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
When contacted for his reaction on the bandh, Union minister and senior BJP leader Hansraj Ahir evaded a direct reply.
