Au00a0group of five people allegedly ransacked the house of a teacher in Satavwadi, Hadapsar, and torched his car after a minor quarrel over playing cricket. The police have arrested two people.
Kalpana Sanjeev Yadav (42), the teacher who lives in Pratik Bungalow in Satavwadi, lodged the complaint. The arrested suspects were identified as Siraj Ismail Sayed (30) and Kaluram Shankar Pawar (30), both residents of Satavwadi.
The police said the arrested men used to play cricket in the open space near the bungalow of the complainant.
"Yadav went to the players and requested them not play as the noise was disturbing others.
Angered by this, Sayed, Pawar and the other three went towards Yadav's houseand broke the windscreen of his car and then torched it.u00a0 After that the suspects forcibly entered Yadav's house and ransacked it," Assistant Police Inspector S S Chavan said.
