All papers were sent to divisions at once, resulting in confusion and mixing of different subjects' answer sheets
It has come to light that the 20-day-long-strike called by junior college teachers across the state — that included boycott on submission and assessment of Std XII answer sheets - resulted in the undeclared results of Std XII students this year.

Yesterday, MiD DAY had carried a report on how 224 students were still left in lurch as the board had failed to declare the ‘reserved’ results by Pune division of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE).
Their results have been pending since last Thursday, the day on which MSBSHSE declared Class XII online results. “Normally, during the Std XII exam, after every paper, the answer sheets are sent to the respective divisions of the state board.
But this year, due to the strike, this has not been done properly. After the strike ended, all papers were sent to the divisions at once causing confusion and resulting in the mixing of different subject answer sheets. Some counter files had also gone missing,” said Sarjerao Jadhav, chairperson of MSBSHSE.
“Due to this, we have to keep some results reserved. Even though the numbers are high in Pune division, a similar situation exists in other state board divisions also. But, there is nothing to worry as all students whose result are reserved will get their mark list on June 6 at their respective junior colleges,” said Jadhav. u00a0
Std X result before June 10
When asked till when Std X students across the state could expect their board exam results, Sarjerao Jadhav said, “The results will be declared before June 10.” However, he refused to share the exact status of result work.
