Telangana: Reward for info on corruption in jail increased

The Telangana prisons department on Wednesday increased the incentive for reporting on corruption in jails from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000

The Telangana prisons department on Wednesday increased the incentive for reporting on corruption in jails from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. "Now, we declare enhancement of the incentive to complainant from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 with immediate effect," V K Singh, Director General-Prisons, said in a release.

Complaints about corruption in jails have declined in the last few years, according to the release.
