It's not easy being a kid these days, what with so many responsibilities -- homework, TV, pesky adults to deal with and whatnot. No wonder then that Children's Day is the best time for them to let their hair down and have a blast. Soma Das scouted around town to get Mumbai's bachchas to take it easy

FOOD, FUN AND FROLIC AT BRUNCH TIME


Sun-n-Sand's Sunday Brunch buffet includes main courses set up at the Kabab Hut area with live counters, salads served in the Sunset Room and desserts in the Aqua Spirit Lounge Bar. A special Kids Zone has been created where children will get to do pot painting, sand art and handkerchief painting. SHOW YOU CARE FOR KIDS
Walkathon 2010 is an opportunity for the general public to help spread awareness about Childline 1098 and child rights and protection. The route will start from the Police Gymkhana and end at NCPA (Queen's Necklace, South Mumbai). Categories include distance run, couple walk, family walk, senior citizen walk and individual walk.

This camp will please parents! If your child suffers from recurrent bouts of cough, cold, fever, allergies or poor appetite, take them to this free pediatric camp by Ayushakti Ayurved Health Centre. The camp will help teenagers with health issues including obesity, acne, dark spots and hair fall.

PAINT THE CITY GREEN
Titan Watches' kids' brand Zoop has organised a painting competition. The theme is Green City. Children aged 6 to 12 years can participate and showcase their ideas on creating an eco-friendly city. Participants will get a certificate from Titan and winners go home with Titan Zoop watches.

Renaissance Hotel will host a Little Master Chef event for kids and a traditional Christmas Cake Mixing activity for adults.
