The university had earlier announced to give legal aid to Zia and other students, who are currently behind the bars for their suspected role in terror activities.
Zia has already missed two of his exams thatu00a0 started on April 16.u00a0 Even if the university reconsiders his plea it will take at least one more week for the full legal processing of the request, by which time exams would be over.
Zia has already been suspended by the university and a campus ban was also imposed on him in September 2008. A fact, which the litigant claims, was not brought to his knowledge.
