Congress candidate and former UN under secretary general Shashi Tharoor today disclosed that he has assets worth around Rs 15 crore.

Congress candidate and former UN under secretary general Shashi Tharoor today disclosed that he has assets worth around Rs 15 crore. While filing nomination papers for the Lok Sabha segment of Thiruvananthapuram, he declared that the apartment he owned at Kakkand in Kochi was worth Rs 2.5 crore and he had a house in Canada worth USD 2 lakh. His ancestral property which he jointly shared with mother Lily Tharoor was worth Rs 33 lakh. He holds bonds and debentures to the tune of Rs 8 lakh. He has a savings deposit of Rs 12,000, he declared.u00a0u00a0
