The impact of demonetisation has clipped the wings of the ‘Great Bombay Circus’ troupe as well.
According to an ANI report, ‘Great Bombay Circus’ returned to Hyderabad in November after a 15-year break. However, the troupe is having an extremely hard time in attracting audiences in the wake of the note ban, which came into effect last month.
The report stated that paucity of cash and change has caused them severe losses in their business, so much so that the travelling circus has had to cancel at least one show every day.
The report went on to add that considering the lack of interest being generated, the troupe is now considering cutting short their schedule as well.
