Three people were electrocuted today in Uttar Pradesh while one of them was trying to illegally draw electricity.
Three people were today electrocuted in Uttar Pradesh as one of them, a teen-aged boy, was trying to hook main supply lines to illegally draw electricity, police said.

The incident took place in Dostpur area of Sultanpur.
Vikas, 13, was trying to steal power from a pole through 'kantiya' - a hook used to draw electricity without paying for it, said a police official.
As the boy was electrocuted, his father, Jagdamba Tiwari (46) and a neighbour, Sandeep (20) went to rescue him, but they too were electrocuted.
All the three died on the spot, Sultanpur Superintendent of Police Alankrita Singh said.u00a0
