Train derails near Airoli

Four coaches of a Panvel-Thane 12-car train went off the track on Saturday evening

Four coaches of a Panvel-Thane 12-car train derailed early last evening.

The incident occurred between Airoli and Thane stations.

Railway officials said that as it would take roughly three hours for the train services to return to normalcy, they had requested the NMMT, BEST and TMT to extend their services for the commuters.

AK Singh, Public relation officer (PRO), Central railway said, “The derailment happened around 4pm. No one was injured.”u00a0
