A 34-year-old man and his wife were seriously injured in a clash over dominancy issue in an area.

Anees started dominating over 200 families in the area. Kumar brothers earlier warned Anees to stay away from such activities.

Anees used to sit with his friends there and drink liquor in the locality that irked residents leading to frequent quarrels among them.

Vasant also opposed it and in the last four months they got into quarrels over 10 times.

On Sunday evening, there was again a quarrel between Anees and Vasant when Anees threatened to kill Vasant who didn't bother.

Last night, Anees and his friends stabbed Vasant in his belly.

K Jayanti, sister of Vasant, said, "This area is not good. Nobody is safe here, especially women who have to face a lot of harassment."

More than 20 police personnel were sent to check activities in the area. However, the police denied to comment about the incident.
