"The people of Khadakwasla constituency have got an opportunity to show their discontent against this corrupt and anti-farmer government in the state," said Mungantiwar. "The government is not sympathetic and sensitive towards the issue and problems faced by the common people."
He rejected the idea that NCP candidate Harshada Wanjale would get sympathy votes in the bypoll. "NCP has cunningly played politics and wooed Wanjale into the party. She will not get sympathy votes, as people from Khadakwasla constituency will vote for the development," reaffirmed Wanjale.
Mungantiwar was accompanied by Vikas Mathkari, city president of BJP, MLA Girish Bapat, Neelam Gorhe, Shiv Sena leader, and Parshuram Wadekar, leader of the Republican Party of India.
