Seven heavy metal bands including two international ones will rock Bangalore this Saturday. So what's so different, you ask? Well, it's for a cause this time, and a cause that we can all appreciate global warming.

The bands are mostly going to perform original tracks from their latest or upcoming albums, but don't be too surprised if a much-loved cover slyly slips in.
Amod Amarth from Sweden and Textures from Netherlands however remain the major attraction. These two international bands will be the closing performances and fans from across the city are really excited about them.
"Bangalore has a very huge metal base, but we wanted to give the metal fans here a taste of live global perfection and hence the melange," says Renu, manager of the event. "Moreover, there are a lot of international bands, who surprisingly, want to come to India and play," she adds.
