Praising the move, Sri Ram College of Commerce college principal, Dr P C Jain said,"In this era where everything is going hi-tech, why not the admission process? DU is a central university and students from all over the country come to study here. And when they arrive here, they are generally clueless and have to run around to get admission. This step will be of huge help to them."

In order to initiate the semester system for the under graduation courses, the university is planning to initiate the admission process early this time.
The process generally begins in the first week of June. However, admission committee is thinking of starting the entire process just when the board results are declared so that classes can start early and studies should not get affected.
