We've seen these two eccentric musicians live on stage far too many times and they've represented the Bangalore music scene at festivals all across the country.

Just back from their recently concluded tour, two of them, Kamal Singh and Abhijeet Tambe (Abhi) to be precise, decided to get busy with their own little creative project. What was it this time, you wonder? Well, t-shirts that sell like hot cakes.

This isn't the first time and Kamal Singh is known for his artistic creativity. We've seen his art work on the Lounge Piranha posters and can anyone ignore the fabulous tables at Popsies in Koramangala? We're actually quite surprised these two fabulous young men took so long to venture out on their own.

Why Pigflower, we ask and we're soon pleasantly amused. Tale goes, as narrated by Kamal, that he loved drawing flowers and one fine day he drew this one particular flower that reminded him of a pig, hence pig flower, or did we hear that right again?

The line focuses on t-shirts for now, but bags, pillow covers and more such easily affordable merchandise is on its way. This exhibition has been on their minds for quite some time now.

But, it was during Christmas last year that someone approached them from Toscano, a restaurant. The restaurateers were impressed with their designs and wanted them to set up a stall. One stall was already set up last week and it was a huge success.

"Our current designs featured on ladybird bugs, a duck with a pencil on its beak and these were a hit with kids, they just seemed to totally love it," Kamal says.

If that's not exciting enough, the duo also plan to allow kids to paint on their own t-shirts too, with a little professional guidance of course, 'cause they believe in individual expression.
