Innovation is the driving force at the annual pilgrimage for motor-heads, the Autocar Performance Show 2010.
Automobile designer Dilip Chhabria showcases his concept car-DC Imperator SUV. Said to draw inspiration from the Ferrari Enzo, the design philosophy for the Imperator boasts of a super car stance on a high spring chassis, long wheel base cab forward look, large aperture gull winged door, 28" wheels and tyres with multi-age lighting systems at the front and back.
The show launches the new Mitsubishi Evo X, which is being called the ultimate performance car, that's fast on the roads without speeding off with your life's savings. A relatively-affordable ride for those who dream of cruising at 100 kmph in under five seconds, the Evo X offers a six-speed manual gear box, twin clutch and comes at a price of Rs 30 lakh.
The show will also feature luxury cars like the full range of the Mercedes SLS AMG, the Jaguar and a wide range of bikes that add to the testosterone appeal of the show. Last day today.
