Woman, 2 children hacked to death

A woman and her two kids were hacked to death by a fellow villager in Odisha's Keonjhar district following a petty argument.

A woman and her two children were hacked to death, allegedly by a villager in Odisha's Keonjhar district, police said today.

Tukuna Munda allegedly hacked to death Puna Bayani, her son Rugudu (5) and Puna's 2-year old daughter with an axe on the outskirts of Rankimundasahi village following an argument over a trivial matter, police said.

While he dumped the body of Rugudu in an abandoned well, the body of the girl was found nearby.

Puna's blood-splattered body was found lying near a field, police said.

Tukuna was then beaten up by villagers while leaving the area and later handed over to the police.
