Au00a040-Years Oldu00a0woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself after suffering harassment from her in-laws for almost 20 years because she had not borne a male child.
Kanta Adinath Avtade (40), a resident of Thergaon, hanged herself at home yesterday, said the Hinjewadi police, who registered a case of abetment of suicide against her husband Adinath Vishwanath Avtade.
