A perception of her own
The collection comprises of paintings that have evolved from the vagaries of innate expressions flowing out on the canvas. Trehan fuses the urban ethos and the female protagonist in such a way that her contentment and exuberance reflect and glorify the dignity of the human form.
"Art is a form of an individual's perception. I work with a language that is a combination of abstract and figurative. I enjoy painting women with their elegant flowing lines and wonderful faces. The protagonist in the majority of the paintings is female," states Trehan.
