After the incident the girl went crying to her mother and narrated the whole incident. The child’s mother then approached the Nallasopara police and lodged a complaint stating that Choudhary had lured her daughter with chocolates and taken her to a secluded corner behind the building, where he violated her.
She said that the locals saw Choudhary playing with the girl and were suspicious. Medical tests confirmed that the minor was raped. “The girl complained about pain in her private parts. Her parents took her to the doctor and a medical test at Thane’s civil hospital confirmed rape.
After tracking Choudhary, the child was taken to identify him,” said Priyatama Muthe, API of Nallasopara police station. “We arrested Choudhary and have registered a case under Section 376(Rape) of the IPC and will produce him in Vasai court,” said Muthe.
