Nashik (Maharashtra): A 21-year-old youth was killed allegedly by his friend over a monetary dispute in Nashik, Maharashtra, police said on Tuesday.

Sandeep Chavan was last night shot dead by his friend Kishor Jadhav (35) at the Jijamata ground in Satpur colony here, Manoj Karanje, In-charge of Satpur police station said.
Kishor used to lend money and charge interest over it. Sandeep was working with Kishor to collect the money which he had lend, the officer said.
The duo was having a discussion Monday night at the ground when an altercation took place over some monetary issue. In a fit of rage, Kishor pumped bullets into Sandeep, he said.
Sandeep was rushed to the civil hospital in Nashik where doctors declared him dead on arrival, police said.
A case under section 302 (murder) of IPC and relevant sections of the Arms Act was registered, the officer said,adding efforts are on to nab the accused.
