He is out on bail after being produced in Bandra court on Saturday. Hingorani allegedly sent lewd text messages to a woman residing in a society in Pali Hill, Bandra, where he also lives.

The complainant in her police statement said that he had sent her lewd messages and emails. She then approached a local Mahila Ayog, which sent a letter to Khar police to investigate the matter. The police found the said messages and emails after investigating the matter, and Hingorani was arrested on Friday.
