Fluctuations in COVID-19 figures continue, with India confirming 41,195 new infections in 24 hours; active cases increase by 1,636, death toll rises by 490

India logged 41,195 additional novel Coronavirus infections, which took the total tally to 3,20,77,706, while the active cases increased to 3,87,987, according to the Union health ministry’s data updated on Thursday morning.
The death toll climbed to 4,29,669 with 490 fresh fatalities, the data updated at 8 am showed.
