A man and his son were found dead at a dhaba he ran at Gali No. 6, Aarakasha Road, opposite Woodland Hotel in the Nabi Karim area of the national capital on Saturday, police said. The deceased were identified as Anuj and his son Raunak, police informed. Further, according to the police, they received a PCR call at 2.45 pm informing them about the incident. As a police team reached the spot, they found the dhaba locked from inside. On entering the dhaba, they found Anuj and Raunak lying in a pool of blood with their throats slit.


"According to preliminary investigation, a servant, who was hired by Anuj recently, has emerged as the prime suspect. The servant is missing. A forensic/crime team inspected the crime scene. Necessary legal action is being initiated. Several teams have been formed and entrusted with specific responsibilities in the case," an officer said. A case has been registered under different sections of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigation is underway and more information is awaited.
