According to Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials, there were four locations in the nation's capital where there were fires on Wednesday, including a police station and a mall. They added that no casualties had been reported from any of these occurrences. The initial call about an AC unit fire came in at 4:10 PM from the City Centre Mall in Dwarka. It quickly spread to a neighbouring AC unit and a chimney. As a result of the fire, panic spread throughout the mall, and security guards evacuated the area.

Six fire tenders were called into action, according to a PTI report, and the fire was extinguished in thirty minutes, according to a DFS official. According to the official, there was also a fire at the Laxmi Nagar Police Station parking lot in east Delhi at approximately 5:30 p.m. By the time the vehicle arrived, the three fire tenders had been forced into service, but the police officers stationed there were in charge. The official stated that the fire destroyed two parked cars and four parked motorcycles.

At 8:35 p.m., the third incident happened at a three-story commercial building in Rohini Sector-8, Delhi. According to the official, it is believed that the fire originated on the ground floor of the building, which houses an eyewear company's showroom. The official stated that after twelve fire tenders were called into action, the fire was brought under control in one and a half hours. He claimed that the fourth incidence took place at a home in the East of Kailash neighbourhood of southeast Delhi. A call was made about a home fire that started on the third story of a business building. According to the official, three fire tenders were dispatched and managed to put out the fire in thirty minutes.
