Police have launched an investigation of the accident
Four Kanwar pilgrims were killed and others injured when a speeding car hit them on the Gwalior-Shivpuri link road in Madhya Pradesh`s Gwalior district. The accident occurred near Sheetla Mata Mandir Tiraha under the jurisdiction of Jhansi Road Police Station, a police officer said.
The incident took place on the Gwalior-Shivpuri link road, where the Kanwariyas were walking along the roadside. A car travelling at high speed suffered a tire burst, causing the driver to lose control and crash into the pilgrims, reported ANI.
