Take a peek at the show Minute to Win it before it airs on televesion on January 12. It holds some big prize money, some quirky contestants and easy games you can try at home

No dangling off a cliff, hurling profanities at each other in the name of love, or shedding tears over a lover's alleged 'infidelity'. In Minute to win it, the Indian version of the American game show with the same name that will hit television screens on January 12 at 10 pm on AXN, challenges include Bite Me, where participants must pick paper bags of varying sizes using only their mouths, Bottoms Up where they need to knock over empty cans using a yo-yo tied to their waists and Bucket Head where they try to catch balls in a bucket placed on their heads and many more games using objects available in an average household. Fun, right?



Simple games, details of which are available on their website offer a fair chance for anyone to make some fast cash --upto a cool Rs 1 crore. And household objects form a collision course that separates contestants from that money.

"These are also great as party games and I think people will definitely pick them up from the show," says contestant Anshuman Singh.

The channel has bought rights to the American show and roped in funny man Gaurav Kapur to host the game show.u00a0Contestants come in all shapes and sizes from a varied demographic, and the crew shot in Malaysia.

Not to give you any ideas, but you could put your pea flinging skills to far better use on the show than at the dining table, and practice always helps. When you are hugging that load of money we don't think your mom will still have a problem with you playing with your food.

What was your initial reaction to being offered the show?
Well, I've been a fan of the international show and so have my folks, so I was pretty excited to do the show. Though I think my parents were more excited than me.
