The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly was adjourned on Sunday, with Speaker Rahul Narwekar proposing that the next session be held on February 23 next year, news agency PTI reported.

During the seven-day winter session in Nagpur, the Vidhan Sabha functioned for 72 hours and 35 minutes, recording a daily average of 10.22 hours. Only 10 minutes were lost during the proceedings, Narwekar said. Of the 18 bills tabled in the assembly, 16 were passed, he added.
