The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) hopes to start construction of two tunnels and a flyover in February to ensure smoother connectivity to Mumbai's business hub - Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) - from Bandra Worli Sea Link as well as the airport as well as to decongest the busy Kalanagar junction.
If everything goes according to plan, then the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will start the construction work of two tunnels and a flyover connecting Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) with Kherwadi and Bandra Reclamation by February.
While the feasibility study has been completed, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the project is nearing completion and by January MMRDA will be inviting two tenders (one for the two tunnels and one for the flyover).
