Both the Houses of the Parliament faced major disruptions on Tuesday on Day 2 of Monsoon Session 2025 as the Opposition protested over the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls by the Election Commission (EC) in Bihar ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

Amid ruckus by the Opposition, both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till Wednesday 11 am.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Lower House was first adjourned till noon, minutes after it convened, and then again till 2 pm, shortly after it reconvened amid Opposition protest.
