New Facebook post controversy: Man detained for 'abusing' Raj Thackeray

Even before the ambers of the old Facebook post controversy have had a chance to die out, a new fire has erupted after a 19-year-old Palghar resident was detained for allegedly posting "abusive" comments against MNS chief Raj Thackeray and the people of Maharashtra on the social networking site, police said.

On a day when a bandh was observed in Palghar near Mumbai in Maharashtra's Thane district, a man identified as Sunil Vishwakarma had to face the wrath of an angry MNS mob for a Facebook post that allegedly targetted Raj Thackeray. The mob ofu00a0gathered outside his home and took him to the Palghar police station.
