A 26-year-old woman was raped inside a taxi in the city, police said yesterday, adding that the attacker has been arrested. “The woman, a housewife, had lodged a complaint that she was raped inside a moving car late Thursday night. Acting on her complaint, we arrested the accused, Mumtaz Khan, who has confessed to having committed the crime,” said Azizul Mollick, an officer of the Entally police station in central Kolkata.
