Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who won both the Wayanad and Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seats in the 2024 general elections, said on Wednesday that he is unsure which seat to keep. Gandhi promised that whichever decision he made, both constituencies would be happy. He thanked the Wayanad people for re-electing him and stated, "I look forward to seeing you soon."

Per a PTI report, Gandhi stated at a public address, "I am torn between serving as MP for Wayanad and Rae Bareli. I promise that both constituencies will be pleased with my decision." This was Gandhi`s first visit to Kerala after winning the Wayanad seat for the second time by a considerable margin.
