In response to a video surfacing online depicting students chanting slogans such as "Strike for Babri," the Jamia Millia Islamia university in Delhi witnessed a precautionary deployment of police personnel on Monday.

The security measure coincided with the Ram temple consecration in Ayodhya. The idol was erected at the historic site of the 16th Century Babri Masjid, demolished in 1992.
