Security was beefed up at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis` residences in Nagpur following a neighbouring protest organised by a local organisation over the installation of pre-paid energy metres, according to officials.

Fadnavis, who also manages the state energy department, has two residences in Nagpur: Devgiri in Civil Lines and Trikoni Park in the Dharampath region, both about 3 to 4 kilometres from the protest site at Variety Square, reported PTI.
