Some trains to be affected due to power block between Atul and Valsad stations: Western Railways

The Western Railway on Tuesday said that some trains will be affected due to a power block between Atul and Valsad stations. 


In an official statement, the Western Railways said that due to two hours power block on 24th August, 2023 from 11.25 hrs to 13.25 hrs, for launching of 36m composite girder of Valsad ROB between Atul and Valsad, few Western Railway trains will be cancelled and regulated.


According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of these trains are as under: 


Cancellation of Trains - 

1.    Train No. 09154 Valsad – Umargam MEMU

2.    Train No. 09153 Umargam - Valsad MEMU

Regulation of Trains- 

1.    Train No. 09724 Bandra Terminus – Jaipur Weekly Special will be regulated by 55 mins.

2.    Train No. 19015 Dadar – Porbandar Saurashtra Express will be regulated by 00.35 mins.

3.    Train No. 12926 Amritsar – Mumbai Central Paschim Express will be regulated by 01.40 hrs.

4.    Train No. 22954 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Gujarat Express will be regulated by 01.30 hrs.

"Passengers are requested to kindly take note of the same," the Western Railway said. 

Meanwhile, in an another statement on Thursday, the Western Railway said that for the convenience of passengers, additional stoppage has been provided on experimental basis to Train No 19003/19004 at Chalthan and Vyara station and to Train No 22971 & 20929 at Vyara Station.

According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details are as under:-

1.    Train No. 19003/19004 Bandra Terminus – Bhusaval Khandesh Express has been provided with additional halt at Chalthan & Vyara station w.e.f journey commencing Ex Bandra Terminus on 22nd August, 2023  and Ex Bhusaval on 20th  August 2023. 

Train No. 19003 Bandra Terminus – Bhusaval Khandesh Express will arrive Chalthan station at 05.23 hrs and depart at 05.25 hrs. and reach Vyara station  at 06.13 hrs and depart at 06.15 hrs. Similarly, Train No. 19004 Bhusaval - Bandra Terminus Khandesh Express will arrive Chalthan station at 23.00 hrs and depart at 23.02 hrs. and arrive Vyara station  at 22.12 hrs and depart at 22.14 hrs.

2.     Train No. 22971 Bandra Terminus – Patna Express has been provided with additional halt at  Vyara station w.e.f journey commencing Ex Bandra Terminus on 21st August, 2023.
Train No. 22971 Bandra Terminus – Patna Express will arrive Vyara station  at 23.57 hrs and depart at 23.59 hrs.

3.    Train No. 20929 Udhna  – Banaras Express has been provided with additional halt at  Vyara station w.e.f journey commencing Ex Udhna on 25th August, 2023.

Train No. 20929 Udhna  – Banaras Express will arrive Vyara station  at 21.13 hrs and depart at 21.15 hrs.
