Smriti Irani took charge as Textiles Minister on Wednesday afternoon and giggled away questions on why she has been shifted from the more high-profile Education Ministry, quoting from a popular Hindi film song.
On relationship with media "You (to media) all have come here in Textiles Ministry in such huge numbers probably for the first time. Yeh is baat ka sanket hai ki mai chahe kisi bhi segment mein jaaun, aapka (media) aur mera saath barkarar rahega."
