A restaurant in China has come under fire for a promotion aimed at giving discounts to women with larger breasts.
Trendy Shrimp sparked complaints after a picture of this sign was posted on twitter advertising lower prices for women with bigger cup sizes. The poster shows women with varying chest sizes alongside the tagline: "The whole city is looking for breasts".
According to a report in BBC, the posters first appeared on August 1 and have since been removed, but Trendy Shrimp general manager Lan Shenggang defended their sales strategy. "Once the promotion started, customer numbers rose by about 20%," he said, adding that "some of the girls we met were very proud - they had nothing to hide".
