Allen Troy Brooks, a 67-year-old man from Columbia, Tennessee, said: “Hey, you want to take me to the store?”

“I want to go to the store to get me a beer. I’ll pay you,” a TV news channel quoted him as saying.
To which the dispatcher replied: “OK. Sir. I can’t take you to the store to get a beer.
Undeterred, he told the dispatcher that she could “come now.”
“No sir. You’ve got 911,” the dispatcher said.
Brooks was arrested for making 911 calls in a non-emergency, to which he countered by saying that he had incorrectly dialed the number and was trying to reach his pal.
Brooks had called the number 11 times in the past month, many of which were hang-ups, police told WKRN.
Brooks was taken to jail where he was released on a 1,500-dollar bond.
