Stroking horses can cure homosexuality, claims priest

A pastor of the Cowboy church of Virginia has reportedly claimed that stroking of horses can treat homosexuality

According to the Gay Star News, Raymond Bell has claimed that the use of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), or sessions involving the stroking of horses can aid in the curing of maladies and “addictions” like homosexuality, the Huffington Post reported.

However, it’s not clear how EAP functions to rid a gay person of their “affliction.”

Bell does not believe that homosexuality is genetic. Instead he claimed that it was a type of addiction, which is not “curable as a disease as it is a “choice driven” by the person.
